Ways to help | Office VolunteerOffice administration support, including filing and accounting.Administrative Office VolunteerVolunteer will provide office support and general clerical duties primarily for the Administrative Assistant but may also provide support for other staff members as needed and appropriate. Tasks may vary based on current needs and may include but not be limited to some of the following activities:General office duties: Assist with preparation of letters and mailings Assist in paper and electronic filing systems Assist in Accounts Payable preparationSpecial Events such as the Governor’s Points of Light: Assist with overall event planning and logistics as assigned Silent AuctionSponsorship: Prepare mailings and assist with follow upSharepoint Administrative VolunteerVolunteer will primarily provide office support for the design and implementation of Sharepoint Team Sites and File Repository. Volunteer may also be assigned to general clerical duties as needed and appropriate. Tasks may vary based on current needs and may include but not be limited to some of the following activities: Identify files that need to be moved into SharepointAssess and make recommendations for the design and implementation of Sharepoint Team Sites and File Repository structureSupport Nevada Volunteers staff with the best ways (best practices) for using SharepointSpanish Language TranslatorThis volunteer will aid Nevada Volunteers in our efforts to inform all Nevadans about the power of volunteering and National Service. Tasks will include translating public forms and flyers into Spanish. |

About us | Nevada Volunteers, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is the Governor’s commission that selects and administers AmeriCorps State programs in Nevada. We also serve as Nevada’s primary resource center for volunteer and service efforts. |
