Board Positions | Board Member – GovernanceNevada Outdoor School needs assistance with board recruitment and engagement. A renewed sense of commitment and program participation is needed in the 19 year old outdoor education nonprofit from someone other than the Executive Director.Board meetings are also currently planned and facilitated by the Executive Director which we would like to change.Board Member – Marketing/EventsNevada Outdoor School is currently focusing heavily on our marketing and fundraiser events. Having a board members knowledgeable in creative marketing and low cost advertising strategies with a history of success is desired.Board Member – FinanceNevada Outdoor School is currently recruiting for a board member knowledgeable about nonprofit finance and accounting. The qualified individual would take over Board Treasurer responsibilities. |

Service Positions | Nevada Outdoor School Summer NaturalistThis position is a 300 hour, 40 hours . Schedule is Mon.-Fri. 8:00 am-4:00 pm Hours and days may vary. Summer Naturalists will deliver and assist with planning, coordination, and outreach of all Nevada Outdoor School educational programs including field trips, summer camps, special events, classroom lessons, and Outdoor Ethics. Training will be offered to the member and CPR training. Nevada Outdoor School Elko Summer NaturalistThis summer position is a 300 hour, 40 hours a week for 10 weeks. Schedule is Mon.-Fri. 8:00 am-4:00 pm Hours and days may vary. Summer Naturalist will deliver and assist with planning, coordination, and outreach of all Nevada Outdoor School educational programs including field trips, summer camps, special events, classroom lessons, and Outdoor Ethics in Elko and and surrounding areas. |
