You will promote NFTC services and recruit volunteers in your community.
You will manage computer equipment, ensure taxpayer data is secured and provide technical assistance to volunteers at multiple sites.
You will greet taxpayers, help organize their paperwork and manage the overall flow of service.
Volunteers help with every aspect of planning and implementing a trip for the veterans from Reno to Washington D.C. and back.
Volunteers help to plan and implement events to raise money for the veterans trips. Administrative help is also needed.
Nevada Outreach provides the following programs to help individuals with problems in: Elder Abuse; Domestic/Sexual Violence; Forensic Interviews for children who have been sexually/physically abused; Family Prevention activities in Parenting and Co-Parenting classes; Anger Management, Independent Skills classes and Budgeting classes; Healthlink to sign up for health insurance; and a family Resource Center.
