We host service opportunities at the church multiple times throughout the year. We serve at the local resource center in downtown truckee; we walk the streets of Reno handing out care packages to those experiencing homelessness; and we participate in much more! Join us for our next service opportunity.
To work with community members experiencing crisis, our volunteers must complete Crisis Intervention Training (CIT). We offer a 69-hour training in the spring and fall to provide community members with tools needed to help those experiencing domestic/intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
We are actively looking for passionate youth and adults to help with our community mobilization efforts as it relates to violence prevention in the Truckee community.
