Sacked Lunch Super Heroes is a volunteer activity appropriate for 4-5 volunteers. Sacked Lunch Super Heroes is hosted every Thursday from 4:00pm-5:30pm (negotiable). Once a month NPHY hosts a baking contest. Volunteers will prepare snacks such as cookies, cupcakes, and other confections at the Drop-In Center. Volunteers will not only prepare the snacks, they will also decorate them. Residential Expansion/ Improvement Projects are great for 12-15 volunteers. Volunteers will assist with service projects that focus on improving NPHY’s housing facilities. Projects available may vary, but can include assisting us with assembling bunk beds and rearranging the client’s Independent Living and Emergency Shelter condos, painting projects, property maintenance/organization projects, beautification/restoration projects, and more.
