Offers hospitality to grieving loved ones by providing a lunch or reception following funerals and memorial services at the church.
Prays for all those who make a prayer request on Sundays and throughout the week.
Volunteers are needed to serve in a variety of roles in the Food Pantry. You will be assigned a role when you arrive for service, based on the needs of the Food Pantry that day. The Janitor/Groundskeeper helps keep LSSN looking clean, professional, and ready to help serve our clients. General cleaning activities may include mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and general up-keep of the facility. Disposal of trash in offices, restrooms, kitchen, and outside areas is also expected.
Group volunteer opportunities include organizing the pantry, helping at our open air food markets, hosting food/backpack/toy/clothing drives, and assisting with special events.
