We work to record the services provided and obtained at our Connect events to better inform our coordination of community service. The data-basing volunteer will be tasked with accurately transferring recorded services and event attendance into our local database.

There are many volunteer roles available at Project Homeless Connect

As a foster parent, you offer the first warm, loving environment the dog (or dogs) may have had in quite some time, if ever. In your home, they have the ability to heal, grow, and flourish in a new life while they wait for their adoptive family to find them.

As a volunteer, you can socialize, cuddle, groom and help care for the kitties in our sanctuary. Or you can help with our morning cleaning routine (litter boxes, food/water, sweep, etc.) Other opportunities are available for folks to do office work, give tours, and help with adoptions.

We would love to have your help out at the butterfly house. Opportunities also include raising plants as caterpillar food or pollinator plants, helping us maintain the butterfly house and gardens, or helping lead group events.

Enhance your communities’ knowledge about their parks and open spaces! Become a parks biodiversity and/or history researcher and contribute to the Parks Project’s comprehensive database.

Having a ruff day? Becoming a Doggie Ambassador may just be the ‘ultimutt’ cure! Help keep parks and trails free of dog waste by helping to keep our in-park dog waste stations stocked and accessible for all!

Help promote LEAD with Horses mission and programs or plan events and fundraisers.
