About us Since 1989 The Shade Tree has served homeless and abused women and children, victims of domestic violence, victims of elder abuse, victims of street violence, female veterans, homeless youth and the physically disabled. Using programs offered by The Shade Tree, women can rebuild their lives. They can find employment, secure permanent housing and become productive member of the community.
