About usNCC works to reduce the burden of cancer in Nevada through prevention, education, and advocacy. NCC develops and executes programs, promotes evidence-based practices, gathers and disseminates information, and advocates for policies to: reduce the risk for developing cancer, increase early detection and appropriate screening for cancer, increase access to appropriate and effective cancer treatment and care, address quality of life issues for Nevadans affected by cancer, promote the collection and use of cancer-related data, and improve the coordination and collaboration between cancer control efforts.
