| Ways to help | Volunteers Needed-Strong Youth Strong CommunityOn Tuesday, April 26th, the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is hosting an event with Strong Youth, Strong Communities! This is a national organization that travels the country in partnership with the Pro Football Hall of Fame to teach kids how to be strong members of their communities.Around 250 local youth will be in attendance, and we need your help to make this event a success! 18 adult volunteers are needed from 3:00pm-6:30pm to help with breakout sessions. |

| About us | Since our founding in 1976, the Club has grown from a single site serving a few dozen youth to 20 sites around northern Nevada serving more than 13,000 youth each year. Our Club boasts nearly 130 different programs, events and activities to meet the diverse needs and interests of our members. These programs fall under five core areas: Character & Leadership Development; Education & Career Development; Health & Life Skills; the Arts; and Sports, Fitness & Recreation. |
