Our board | Provide governance to Spread the Word Nevada, Inc. (“STWN”) and represent it to the community.Characteristics of the Ideal Board Member:

Position | The board member responsible for marketing brings to the organization deep and broad experience in the oversight of marketing that produce immediate and direct results for our bottom line. This board member should both be able to roll up their sleeves, but also is able to see the big picture of the impact of marketing. |

Where | Currently virtual, but eventually back in person at board member or STWN office |

Commitment | 1 to 3 hours/month |

Donation | We require a specific amount of “give or get” for all board members. |

Requirements | General Time Commitment:Event/Meeting Duration Frequency BOD Meetings: 1 ½ - 2 hours* Four meetings per yearAd Hoc Committee Work: 2 hours* VariableSpecial Event Attendance: 2-4 hours 3 events per year*Not including preliminary review of meeting materials and any advance preparation requiredFinancial/Talent Commitment:Make a meaningful personal financial commitment of a minimum of $1000 annually to STWN and bring some special talent, skill, knowledge, contact or other contribution to further the aims of STWN. “Give or Get" at least one table sponsorship for the annual Storybook Gala.Responsibilities:
