Our board | Dreamsickle Kids Foundation's board is comprised of a diverse group of individuals who bring a wide range of views and resources to the nonprofit that align with the mission to #MakeSickleCellPopular and advocate for health equity and awareness in Nevada for those impacted by Sickle Cell and any of the other 7000 Rare Diseases. |

Position | The board member responsible for human resources provides oversight to the organization’s leadership in six main areas: hiring, workplace policies, compensation, evaluation, grievances/whistleblowing and layoffs. The key aspect of the role is around human-resource governance, while implementation is the responsibility of the organization’s leaders. |

On-boarding | Our on boarding process is inclusive of, but not limited to, all that an orientation entails. It is the process of integrating and acculturating new board members into the organization and providing them with the tools, re- sources, and knowledge to be successful and productive in her/his role. |
