|Helping Hands of Vegas Valley is a non-profit whose mission is to improve the quality of life for senior citizens and their families in order to maintain their dignity and independence.
|Board Members are critical to the effectiveness of Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, both as advocates for the senior citizens our network serves and stewards of the organization’s resources. Helping Hands of Vegas Valley Board of Directors provides oversight and assures the organization remains focused on its mission while remaining consistent and in compliance with the organization’s Bylaws. |We are looking for a person who has a passion for helping Senior Citizen to serve as a Board of Trustees for Helping Hands of Vegas Valley. During the recent pandemic our agency grew from 25 employees to 36 employees, however we lost some key Board Members. We are looking for someone who enjoys the Governance aspect of Board Service and can help us to create policies and procedures for this new committee on the HHOVV Board of Trustees.
|Third Friday, of even months, from 8:00am to 9:30am
|Zoom or Office of one of the Board Members
|1 to 3 hours/month
|We strive for 100% board giving, but have no strict guidelines around financial contributions.

These individual assets will be vital to our success as we grow. We also realize that not everyone has the same skill set and/or comfort level with nonprofit governance and/or fundraising.
