PositionAre you passionate about ensuring all kids in Nevada have access to high-quality schools? Serving on a public charter school board is a rewarding experience and a great way to get involved.Public charter schools are locally governed by their own board of directors, made up of committed and dedicated professionals, parents and caregivers, and community members. Your service can be invaluable to current and future public charter schools if you:
  • Have expertise in education, law, human resources, business, accounting/finance, marketing, fundraising, and/or other specialized fields;
  • Are a parent or caregiver;
  • Or have strong community ties or a strong commitment to the community.
Opportunity 180 works closely with leaders of public charter schools to identify great candidates to serve on charter school boards. Board members have the opportunity to sit on the board of established schools or as part of a founding board to launch a new school.If you are ready to learn more, then we're excited to meet you.
