How you helpAssistance League of Reno-Sparks is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that makes a difference in our community through 11 philanthropic programs that benefit children, seniors, veterans, and victims of abuse. More than 300 members volunteer over 50,000 hours every year. Yes, this is a strong working group of men and women!
About usAssistance League was the first nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization founded in the West to recognize the potential of volunteers in helping those less fortunate to a better, more meaningful life. The philanthropic programs focus on children, seniors, veterans and victims of sexual assault. Each program was developed over time in response to meet a specific need in the community. Assistance League of Reno-Sparks is able to operate and fund the programs through generous donations and proceeds generated by the Thrift Shop and private donations.
