Help organize the Orchestra’s special events. Ways you can help include: inviting friends to fundraising events, helping with mailings and special projects at the office.

From individuals providing help with homework to groups working on a specific project or Clubhouse, let us work with you to identify the best way to be involved. Fingerprint and background checks are required when working with children.

Requirements: 16+ Shifts: As needed Volunteers are needed to teach children and adults about the responsibilities of caring for a pet. Topics covered are volunteerism, pet safety, pet overpopulation, adopting from a shelter and making a lifetime commitment to your pet.

Requirements: 18+; Experienced Dog Walker Shifts: 3 times a month Volunteers are needed to teach new volunteers all about dog walking here at NHS! A training will be required in order to teach these classes

Requirements: 18+; once a week commitment on the same day/time every week; Training Shifts: 7 days a week Volunteers are trained monitor animals post-surgery to make sure they are recovering.

Requirements: 10+ with parent supervision; 16-17 without supervision Every Wednesday and Saturday we have a Bunny Yoga class. We need volunteers to help transport the bunnies to the education room and monitor them during the yoga class.
