The Girls on the Run 5K would not be possible without the help of amazing volunteers who believe in our mission and show up to support our girls. Whatever your special skills and talents, we have a role for everyone.

Volunteers are always needed at the Nevada Southern Railway and provide a variety of functions, from repairs and maintenance, as well as youth programs, restoration, and most importantly, give riders of the railway an authentic historic train ride experience.
Whether you would like to donate your time working in the library or assisting the Friends of the Library by helping with outreach events and book sales, we have lots of opportunities for you to get involved. Stop by your local library to volunteer.
We hold monthly book sales, alternating among the Paseo Verde, Green Valley and Gibson Libraries. The sales are held inside, and shifts vary from two to four hours. You can assist on sale day, or volunteer a few hours a week in the sorting of donated books.
We have volunteers sorting through donated books, checking the values, packaging and mailing out books that have been purchased through our online store at amazon.com
Assist with school groups visiting the Museum, give gallery tours, and more.
Event volunteers check in guests, assist with behind-the-scenes tours, serve refreshments, etc.
