We need volunteers to help with everything at the theatre from tech to costumes to communications.
The primary role of a volunteer is to welcome and serve our service members and their families, and to make them feel at home at our USO locations. Some common duties include greeting and checking-in guests, assisting with center activities and programs, offering food and beverages, maintaining tidiness in the center and supporting staff members…
Volunteering is a great way to fully experience QuiltCon, meet new people, and have fun!
You can also help us behind the scenes. We need assistance with fundraising, administrative duties, data entry, graphic design, website development, and more. If you can spare some time, and you have an interest in helping us, we will find something for you to do!
These are our “ground pounders” who go into the field to find missing people. You must be in good physical condition and comfortable searching mountain, desert, wilderness, and urban terrain in all kinds of weather. You will receive training in all aspects of search and rescue.
Command post personnel work at the command center of our operation. They handle team communications, mapping, accountability, safety, scribing, and information processing. This position does not require rigorous physical conditioning and is open to nearly anyone that can work well in a fast-paced environment.
We have several events throughout the year that we need volunteers to help us with.
Volunteers help us with food distribution and other events.
This is one of the most rewarding ways to help our cats! Do you have what it takes to foster a kitten? Socialize them with other animals and people, give them love and train them to be a good house cat?
Other activities we are seeking volunteers for is to help restock our food pantry once a month and fill boxes with food for our Adopt-A-Vet Program. We also need assistance in making up hygiene kits that we use not only for our Adopt-A-Vet Program but for various veterans service fairs around the valley.
