Assistance League members fulfill the daily obligations of running the chapter. Elected Board Members come from the voting membership and members volunteer on over 21 committees. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month except July and August. Members can schedule volunteer time to fit their schedules.

Because of the sensitive nature of our work, most volunteer positions do involve significant training. We ask that volunteers who complete the training commit to 4-6 hours weekly or biweekly of volunteer time for a minimum of 6 months. Volunteers mentor attending youth, provide 24/7 supervision, and eat, sleep and play with the kids. They help engage kids, and provide direct support to the kids and the onsite therapists.
