Prays for all those who make a prayer request on Sundays and throughout the week.

UCP has several annual fundraisers and activities whose success depends on the wide variety of skills and talents as well as the time and energy of its many volunteers. There are many ways to be included and contribute.

Assist with a variety of Thrift Store operations: Donation preparation, processing, repairing for sale. Customer service, tag, size, and stock clothing daily. Other duties as needed.

Work one-on-one or with small groups of adults in our Sparks, Elko or Reno locations focusing on continued education and job skills training. Work in an open, friendly, interactive work environment.

Help in our Sparks head office with a variety of general office work, and simple accounting tasks.

Mentor adult volunteers as they work with Girl Scouts to create memories they will never forget.

Assist with driving, activity planning, snacks, money management, or other tasks necessary to keep the troop running oh-so-smoothly from week to week.

Work with a group of girls and mentor them as they make new friends and develop connections that will last a lifetime.

Coordinate the annual Cookie Program at the troop level. Set up cookie booths, manage inventory and money, and then watch the girls light up when they earn the rewards for being the best cookie sellers ever!

Do you have a skill you can’t wait to share? Want to help foster talent through awesome skills like coding, carpentering, or changing a tire? Skill-based volunteers are needed for troop presentations, on-site mentorship, or advising activities.
