A resource leader serves as a resource to leaders or members in a specific project or activity area.

4-H volunteers can serve on camp planning committees and leaders’ councils, teach workshops, raise funds, recruit new members or volunteers, judge at fairs and contests or organize events. 4-H is flexible and can be suited to a variety of lifestyles.

Become a chapter director, camp counselor, committee member, or chapter coordinator. Regardless of your role as a student volunteer, we’ll provide you with ongoing training and guidance to help you be successful at Kesem and your professional life after college.

Provide direct support to Kesem student leaders and ensure the safety of all Camp Kesem program participants while onsite. Open to Kesem student leaders and alumni.

Work directly with Kesem team members to improve experiences and outcomes for camper families through the review and processing of camper applications and the development of individualized accommodation plans. Open to Kesem student leaders and alumni. 2-4 hours/weekly, November-August.

Caregivers help us trap feral or “community cats” to help reduce pet over-population.

Phoenix volunteers can serve as event supporters. Supporters serve in a variety of capacities, such as helping with event set-up and breakdown, welcoming and registering event attendees, promoting events throughout the community, and helping to bring the Phoenix to new communities.

As an Event Leader, you’ll share the talents and activities you’re most passionate about with existing or new Phoenix team members. From starting a walking event to leading a book club, you can bring The Phoenix to your community. You will have dedicated guidance every step of the way in your onboarding journey.

Allies make an intentional friendship with an individual/family in poverty and join them in their quest to have a support system in our community. Allies support graduate Champions as they work on their SMART goals and future stories. Allies and Champions meet in-person monthly at the Champion Alumni meetings.
