Each team in the Seniors, Juniors, Intermediate (50/70), Majors, and Minors divisions in baseball and softball need at least one volunteer scorekeeper. The scorekeeper keeps the team’s scorebook (the league encourages the use of electronic scoring applications), and, under the manager’s direction, post the scores and pitch counts after each game.

In the past Summerlin North Little League has relied on managers to make sure that shifts at the snack shack were covered. Assist the Kitchen Staff with packaging hot dinner for the community meal guests and then serving at the Residential / Shelter Guest Dinner service. All packaged dinners will be passed out by security to our guests outside of our gates. Volunteers will work alongside our clients in-program working on their recovery and stronger living.

The pantry is the home for helping our community with a much needed resource. Organize new stock delivers. Put together pre-packed food bags with various food items. 2-hour per shift commitment, that can happen anytime between the hours of 12pm and 6pm each Thursday.

The front desk volunteers are the first point of contact for many visitors, callers, clients, and community members. Offer warm welcome and greetings to everyone. Connect people with programs and services or needed referrals. 3-hour per shift commitment.

Every second Wednesday of the month. Set Up – Help in setting up tables, chairs, bingo stage and prizes. Ticket Sales – Sell Bingo and Raffle Sheets to attendees. Clean Up – Help clean up tables, put away tables and chairs.

Assemble new client files with the basics to keep case management stocked with plenty to grab when needed. Bi-Weekly need for files – come on a regular schedule or as we reach out in need of more files.

Our clients are starting over, they move into housing but often have no furniture. We receive donations but need assistance in getting them picked-up and delivered to client homes. Do you have a truck? We could use your help now and then!

You can mentor in person, via zoom, phone… it all makes a difference when our clients have someone in their corner who they can turn to and count on. Life skills, parenting, financial literacy, reading literacy, GED prep, etc. Client needs are identified by case managers.
