Hospitals and clinics are welcome to join our network so that we know whom to call when we have a case in your community. In addition, we are looking for volunteer veterinarians and tech assistants to go to places where the homeless congregate and administer veterinary care to pets of the homeless.

The academy will teach you the five Emotional First Aid skills of reaching out, protecting, reassuring, organizing and reinforcing. It is taught with the help of rescue personnel and mental health professionals. Becoming a volunteer requires the 36 hours of training, a three-month field-training program, plus mandatory 3-hour continued education classes once per month.

What does it take to be a literacy tutor? The ability to read, write and speak English, compassion for others, and patience. Tutor training takes one hour of personal training at your convenience.

Assist in various roles including pulling equipment trailers, setting up hydration and snack stations, delivering and serving food, set-up/clean-up for Artown Performance, announcer, and sound support.

Help throughout the winter and spring with out indoor shows. Positions include running the admissions table, running raffle/swag sales table, unit entrance door, unit exit door, announcer, and sound Support.

A group whose goal is to comfort those experiencing loss by helping serve at memorial service receptions. Some set-up and decorate. Some bring or serve food. Others help with clean up. In a practical way, comfort and joy are given during a time of grief and loss.

A group of ladies using their talents and gifts creating quilts that are used to encourage others. The knots that hold the quilt together represent the prayers and concerns of our church family for those who receive it.

The purpose of the Visitation Team is to share the love of God by offering prayer, compassionate and practical support, and face-to-face visits to the hospitalized and elderly in our church body. We desire to allow God to work through us to provide encouragement and hope.
