Whether you would like to donate your time working in the library or assisting the Friends of the Library by helping with outreach events and book sales, we have lots of opportunities for you to get involved. Stop by your local library to volunteer.
We hold monthly book sales, alternating among the Paseo Verde, Green Valley and Gibson Libraries. The sales are held inside, and shifts vary from two to four hours. You can assist on sale day, or volunteer a few hours a week in the sorting of donated books.
Event volunteers check in guests, assist with behind-the-scenes tours, serve refreshments, etc.
First Friday event volunteers help with social media, parking, photography, guest services, set up and take down or anything else needed to pull of a great event.
Looking for a fun team-building opportunity or a fun way to serve with your friends by your side? No matter the size, we can accommodate and find meaningful ways for you and your friends, co-workers, classmates, etc. to serve side-by-side.
Remote volunteering is a way to volunteer when you don’t have the time or flexibility to be on The Center premises during our open hours. Contact us as we may have projects that you can do from the comfort of your home.
Work directly with clients in our boutique, helping them choose an outfit that is appropriate for the job interview and compatible with cultural and individual styles.
