You can come by any time during regular business hours and pet cats in our free roaming Cat Room! Or if you prefer, we have rooms available for you to cuddle shy cats after 2pm weekdays!
Other activities we are seeking volunteers for is to help restock our food pantry once a month and fill boxes with food for our Adopt-A-Vet Program. We also need assistance in making up hygiene kits that we use not only for our Adopt-A-Vet Program but for various veterans service fairs around the valley.
Volunteers help with community outreach, office support and media relations.
NHF Nevada has many volunteer opportunities available: Advisory Board of Directors, Fundraising Committee, Walk Team Captain, Camp Committee, Program Committee, Hispanic Program Committee, Event Photographer, Graphic Design, Event Day Volunteer, General Office Help.
We host 3 events a year and need volunteers to help us run those events.
