Our need is especially great during March/April and October/November when we run most of our Games. It’s a fun way to be involved!

We have volunteer opportunities for every skill level, ranging from getting out on the ground and pulling fence, picking up trash, naturalizing old roads, planting seedlings, monitoring wilderness, and yanking invasive plants.

Welcome visitors at the site, gallery sitting, and to help with events.

Setting up for our one-of-a-kind special events.

North Lake Tahoe is seeking ambassadors to help expand education on destination stewardship and community safety. Local business organizations and Placer County officials have launched an Ambassador Program to assist with trash clean-up, distribution of personal protection equipment (PPE) and peer-to-peer communication in an effort to establish long-term solutions among North Lake Tahoe communities.

We host service opportunities at the church multiple times throughout the year. We serve at the local resource center in downtown truckee; we walk the streets of Reno handing out care packages to those experiencing homelessness; and we participate in much more! Join us for our next service opportunity.

No need to be a master chef! Those of all skill sets are welcome. Extra hands are needed to help plan, shop, prep, and cook for our trail workers during our summer frontcountry and backcountry trail camps. Group sizes vary but are anywhere from 15-40 people needing breakfast, dinner and snacks for three-four days.

Your group will learn new skills, meet new people, and give back to your community. We have projects for volunteers of all ages, skills, strengths, and capabilities! No previous experience required! Be prepared to play in the dirt, do some minor lifting, and have an exciting group bonding experience.
