Phoenix volunteers can serve as event supporters. Supporters serve in a variety of capacities, such as helping with event set-up and breakdown, welcoming and registering event attendees, promoting events throughout the community, and helping to bring the Phoenix to new communities.

Our Financial Navigators are not required to be licensed professionals, they are caring neighbors from diverse backgrounds willing and ready to help Nevadans during this time of recovery from the pandemic. Virtual individual training is provided. The schedule is flexible to meet your needs.

Allies make an intentional friendship with an individual/family in poverty and join them in their quest to have a support system in our community. Allies support graduate Champions as they work on their SMART goals and future stories. Allies and Champions meet in-person monthly at the Champion Alumni meetings.

Resource Navigators assist Nevadans living in the “tyranny of the moment” who need the most basic services (housing, food, clothing, childcare, etc.). Navigators utilize our direct referral platform to connect clients with community-based organization and assist in finding optional resources. Virtual individual training is provided. Flexible schedule.

Selects projects, coordinates trapping effort with colony caretaker, transports trapped cats to clinic or staging facility. Post surgery returns cats to colony caretaker.

Cares for the cats pre/post surgery at the staging facility. Cleans traps, provides food and water, and sweeps and mops the floor.

Responds to calls from community residents who require TNR services. Provides general information on TNR. Obtains required information and forwards to the TNR Manager for inclusion on the trapping queue.

Volunteer on a rotational two week period to monitor telephone messages. HowRU is a daily wellness care for seniors. The Medication Reminder Program is a free program that calls subscribers daily to remind them to take prescribed medications, providing peace of mind to seniors and their families. Publicize and recruit people to join the program.

Photographers, computer/tech assistance, blog writers, and other skilled volunteers are welcome.
