Tahoe’s beaches are an amazing treasure, but they often suffer from overuse, especially during the summer. That’s why one of the League’s strongest volunteer programs is conducting beach cleanups throughout the summer and fall.

Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are invited to these fun, hands-on restoration days. By pitching in, you are improving the watershed habitats that surround Lake Tahoe. Healthy forests act as natural pollution filters to Keep Tahoe Blue.

Clerical assistance for the lab draws twice a month.

Visit with or read to residents, help in the activities room, take residents for a walk, play cards and games, and more.

Greet and direct visitors, deliver flowers and cards, and assist with patient discharge.

Visit patients and provide them with comforting items, company, and conversation.

Assist the Sacramento BloodSource with the South Lake Tahoe blood drives.

Serve as chair person or officer on the Auxiliary Board of Directors.
