American Red Cross preparedness presentations provide emergency preparedness information and guidance that persons can use to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and other emergencies. Having more community members be better prepared for disasters can lead to a more resilient community, potentially help save lives, and reduce the negative impacts of disaster that affect a community. The time commitment is less than 5 hours per month, and for that you can help our community be better prepared for disasters, practice and strengthen your skills in leadership, instruction, coordination, and collaboration, and join the awesome team of Red Cross volunteers in Northern Nevada. We have preparedness presentations for businesses, kids in kindergarten through second grade, kids from fourth to seventh grade, and for adults. You can help with any or all of them!
