UCP has several annual fundraisers and activities whose success depends on the wide variety of skills and talents as well as the time and energy of its many volunteers. There are many ways to be included and contribute.
Assist with a variety of Thrift Store operations: Donation preparation, processing, repairing for sale. Customer service, tag, size, and stock clothing daily. Other duties as needed.
Work one-on-one or with small groups of adults in our Sparks, Elko or Reno locations focusing on continued education and job skills training. Work in an open, friendly, interactive work environment.
Help in our Sparks head office with a variety of general office work, and simple accounting tasks.
Every June 21st, United Way encourages community members to come together for a unique day full of giving back.
Take part in beautification projects like landscaping, painting and space makeovers.
Make an impact by assembling items in need for community members.
Work directly with the people who benefit from your contributions.
Volunteer to help facilitate our after school programs for kids and teens.
Volunteer to help bring our Friday Family Nights or Saturday Parent’s Night out programs to life!
