Whether you would like to donate your time working in the library or assisting the Friends of the Library by helping with outreach events and book sales, we have lots of opportunities for you to get involved. Stop by your local library to volunteer.

We hold monthly book sales, alternating among the Paseo Verde, Green Valley and Gibson Libraries. The sales are held inside, and shifts vary from two to four hours. You can assist on sale day, or volunteer a few hours a week in the sorting of donated books.

We have volunteers sorting through donated books, checking the values, packaging and mailing out books that have been purchased through our online store at amazon.com

Help plan and set up special events for the clients (i.e. picnics, field trips, sporting events, special lunches, holiday and birthday parties). Sponsor a field trip for youth to a museum, a ballgame or bake delicious goodies as a special treat or sponsor a party. Times vary
