We need volunteers at various times throughout the year to help collect and load donated items from conventions and shows hosted here in Las Vegas. Donated items can include furniture and building materials and these items will be sold in our ReStores.

Administrative volunteers with help in our executive offices, making phone calls, organizing, filing, and helping in other administrative tasks.

Volunteers assist with all stages of home construction, including; framing, installing insulation, hanging drywall and painting.

A Corporate Team Build Day is an 7-hour construction experience for you and your team to work alongside our team leaders, volunteers, and Site Supervisor.

Very simply, our team is charged with finding lost or injured people, and if necessary, rescuing them. Being part of the team requires each member to train on a regular basis, so they may learn and so their skills remain sharp. Logistical Firefighters will respond to incidents and serve on the front line at wildland fire incidents. They perform vital water supply operations, support major incident by managing equipment needs and other resource requirements.

Support Volunteers don’t have to respond to emergencies, yet they are responsible for helping to make sure our stations and equipment are always ready. From training, public outreach and maintenance, Support Volunteers have many critical roles to fill. With minimal training, you can become an integral part of our organization.

The academy will teach you the five Emotional First Aid skills of reaching out, protecting, reassuring, organizing and reinforcing. It is taught with the help of rescue personnel and mental health professionals. Becoming a volunteer requires the 36 hours of training, a three-month field-training program, plus mandatory 3-hour continued education classes once per month.
