Schedule – Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Hours may vary Summer 300 hours position 30+ hours a week. Selected candidate will receive a stipend $1229 per month and upon successfully completion the member will receive an Education Award $1,311.11. The Frontier Community Action Agency Program Outreach will assist in the daily functions providing the need of low-income families and individuals in Lovelock, Nevada for the Summer Food Service Program. This position will gain valuable training in Social Services, Resources and Programs offered in the Pershing County area, community development training, emergency assistance, organizing trainings and events, public speaking, written and oral communication, advertising, recruiting and organizing community volunteers, and networking with community members. Required Knowledge – excellent computer skills, self-starter, able to work independently, professional demeanor and ethics and must strictly adhere to the confidentiality policies of FCAA, team player, excellent written and verbal communications skills, current driver’s license and personal transportation required, Able to pass a background check, able to lift 50 lbs. This position will be largely conducted in an outside setting, however some in office duties will be required.
