Nevada Volunteers Invites Business Leaders to Attend Volunteer and Corporate Engagement Summit on January 18
Nevada Volunteers, in partnership with NV Energy and MGM Resorts International, invites Nevada business leaders to the Volunteer and Corporate Engagement Summit to learn how employee volunteer programs can benefit and grow organizations. The Summit will take place on Friday, January 18th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bellagio in Las Vegas.
The participants of the Summit may also attend the 11th Annual Governor’s Points of Light Awards luncheon celebrating Nevada’s outstanding volunteer efforts, being held the same day at Bellagio. Summit tickets are $80, which includes entry to the luncheon, and are available for purchase through January 11th.
Summit attendees will learn about the latest research and trends on how civic engagement and volunteerism can improve employee culture and corporate social responsibility. Nevada’s top corporate and nonprofit leaders will discuss why corporate and volunteer engagement is gaining momentum as a successful business strategy, how it can contribute to the state’s economic growth and how corporate-nonprofit partnerships are established and maintained.
Additionally, they will see best practices recognized as the Governor’s Points of Light Awards’ recipients are selected from 17 finalists at the luncheon.
