Our mission	Engage and support future nonprofit and community leaders through professional development, networking, and social opportunities designed for young people to get involved in the Southern Nevada nonprofit community.

Board Positions	Board Member As YNPN Southern Nevada is an all-volunteer organizations, board members are directly involved in all aspects of the organization's activities. A board director at YNPN Southern Nevada has the following roles, broadly: Establish organizational policies and evaluation procedures. Participate in board development activities and ongoing evaluation efforts. Regularly attend and participate in scheduled monthly board meetings. As YNPN Southern Nevada is an all-volunteer organizations, board members are directly involved in all aspects of the organization's activities. A board director at YNPN Southern Nevada has the following roles, broadly: Establish organizational policies and evaluation procedures. Participate in board development activities and ongoing evaluation efforts. Regularly attend and participate in scheduled monthly board meetings. Attend committee meetings and events, as needed. Represent YNPN to the public, businesses, government officials, and the community Participate in a specific committee position (for example, Events, Membership, Program, Communications, and more) Board terms are two years, starting in January 2022.Note: desired skills encompass multiple committee positions -- you don't have to have all of them! It is also worthwhile to note that many of our past and current board members took the opportunity to develop specific skill sets that they are interested in during their tenure with YNPN.
