How you help | Dine at Westside Bistro! The Westside Bistro provides practical training to our Bus Person, Food Server, Kitchen Steward, Baker’s Helper, and Professional Cook students. Proceeds from the Westside Bistro are reinvested in a CALV scholarship fund to fulfill our vision to reduce poverty and eliminate unemployment by providing vocational and job-readiness training to youth, adults, and displaced workers. |

About us | The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas is the country’s leading nonprofit culinary and hospitality training institute developed through a joint labor-management trust representing private sector employers, the Culinary Union Local 226 and the Bartenders Union Local 165. The academy trains several thousand students per year for participating employers in the hospitality industry. |
