Ways to help | Cat VolunteerTo help our cats get used to people and make them more adoptable by socializing Cats.Thrift Store VolunteerWe operate Reno’s only Thrift Store whose proceeds support homeless pets in our community. Assist in the store by helping clients and keeping everything clean and organized.Weekend Vaccine ClinicThe SPCA of Northern Nevada offers a low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic right here at the SPCA’s Adoption Center. We are looking for vet program students to help assist with our clinic.FosterThe SPCA of Northern Nevada has a wonderful network of foster care volunteers who open up their homes and hearts — for a few weeks or even a few months — to care for hundreds of puppies and kittens.Pet PhotographyTake pictures of our adoptable pets to help them get adopted.Dog VolunteerVolunteers help by walking and socializing dogs. Volunteers must first attend training and must be 18 years old unless accompanied by an adult.Administrative VolunteerAssist us by helping out at the front desk, data input, clerical, and IT help.Special Events VolunteerCommunity events, fund raisers, parades, PR/Marketing. |
