| Ways to help | Activity VolunteersAre up there to lead specific activities or classes, sports, arts n crafts, music, group games, etc. Activity volunteers will be expected to have “lesson plans” for their activity/craft prior to camp and have submitted to the camp director.Event/Fundraising VolunteersAre people who may not be able to help at camp but want to help out during the year and help us with fundraiser events… ie. Fireworks booth, silent auctions, information events, grant writing etcCounselor in TrainingFollow counselors and assist in all counselor duties. This is our training program in hopes to retain amazing counselors in the future. Here you do not necessarily have to have experience, but you must have the desire and willingness to be selfless during the week of camp. |

| About us | Camp Sam USA, is a specialized camp that works with Adults with Developmental and Physical Disabilities to provide a fun and educational experiences. 2014 markedour first camp, and was held in Las Vegas, Nevada at Camp Lee Canyon. Our goals take us to holding multiple camps in Nevada in 2015, then expanding into other states in need of our services. Camp Sam USA was created by a small group of people who wanted to create a safe and fun experience to the adult special needs population where limited resources are available. Our camp is available to multiple levels of cognitive and physical ability. We are always looking for volunteers, groups and organizations that are wanting to work with our individuals and people wanting to donate. |
