Board Member – Fundraising
Our mission | The Good Deed Project is a sustainability-focused, volunteer-fueled organization that provides life-transformative, safe and healthy living environments for the most vulnerable in our community. We offer critical-need home rehabilitations, renovations, repairs, accessibility retrofits and aging-in-place modifications – and provide no-cost furniture and home essentials – to address basic and emergency needs for low-income households and those transitioning from homelessness or other dangerous situations. We’re on a mission to enrich living environments, build stronger and more resilient communities, and develop the potential of our volunteers, donors and partners to have a greater impact on the overall health of individuals and their families, fostering self-sufficiency and independence for thriving futures in Nevada. |

Our board | The Good Deed Project started as a pro-bono project in 2014 — a full renovation of domestic violence shelter S.A.F.E. House — and has grown into a community-wide resource with a holistic approach to our vision of safe and healthy living for all! Our priority is the stability and strength of health and home, and we believe everyone deserves an opportunity to flourish. Our Board of Directors helps drive that vision and supports our mission of helping Nevadans in need, one good deed at a time.Board members advise the executive director on the direction of The Good Deed Project, advocate for the nonprofit in social and business settings, and provide insight on specific topics. |
