Our board
PositionPathways In Education is seeking individuals with a shared passion for empowering disengaged youth to serve on the board of a new charter high school in Clark County.  Pathways In Education is committed to serving students who have dropped out of high school, are at risk of dropping out, or need a non-traditional path to obtain their high school diplomas and  prepare for post-secondary success.As a board member, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of at-risk youth, contribute to innovative education solutions, and be a part of a supportive community dedicated to student growth.  If you are interested in using your professional expertise to help us make a high school diploma a reality for more young people, please apply.

DonationWe strive for 100% board giving, but have no strict guidelines around financial contributions.
RequirementsWe are specifically looking for board members with expertise in the following areas:
  • Human Resources: Skills in workforce development, recruitment, and personnel management.
  • Legal: Knowledge of law.
  • Operations/Finance: Experience with accounting, financial services, strategic planning, facilities management, or process improvement.
  • Education: A educator or administrator (could be retired)
  • Parent/Community Member: Passionate about providing education opportunities for all students.
Board Member Role:
  • Support the organization’s mission and vision.
  • Provide governance, oversight, and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with other board members and school leaders to address challenges and foster opportunities for growth.
  • Commit time to attend board meetings and participate in committees or special initiatives as needed.
On-boardingPathways In Education - Nevada is seeking dedicated individuals to join our nonprofit charter school board. No prior board experience is required—just a commitment to making a difference in students' lives. As a board member, you will help guide the strategic vision of our school, ensuring high-quality education and strong community engagement. Training on effective governance and board responsibilities will be provided, and there is no financial commitment required.
