Our phone hotline operates 24/7 which requires the support of our dedicated volunteers. Volunteers answer this hotline after Signs of HOPE business hours, on weekends, and on holidays.
Phone hotline duties include:
- Answering hotline calls which can range from general questions from the public to a client in immediate crisis and needing support.
- Responding to the hospital to be with the client as they go through the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) exam.
Requirements
- Must be able to volunteer after SOH hours, on weekends, and on holidays.
- Volunteers need to be able to commit to scheduled 4-hour shifts once a week or every other week.
- Must be 21 years or older.
