Training and Engagement Coordinator

Nevada Volunteers seeks a Training and Engagement Coordinator to support Nevada Volunteers’ efforts of building and maintaining the state’s infrastructure to enhance community volunteer engagement. Nevada Volunteers is a nonprofit organization and serves as the Governor’s Commission on Service with a goal of strengthening Nevada through AmeriCorps and volunteerism.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Previous experience engaging and managing volunteers preferred. Excellent computer (Microsoft Office 365 programs) skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a variety of constiuents. Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure independently, and in team settings. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple communities and in diverse settings is a must, as well as a demonstrated commitment to building partnerships. Flexibility regarding travel required. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a criminal history background check.

Compensation: This is a full-time position. Salary is negotiable depending on background and experience. Benefits package included.
