The Nevada Statewide Coalition Partnership is recruiting fall members to serve in northern and southern Nevada. All members will be trained as Community Health Workers, as well as in Nutritional Education, CPR and Mental Health First Aid.
These members will focus on strengthening their local communities through direct service opportunities. Members will work to disseminate health education information related to nutrition, physical wellness and diabetes prevention. Members will serve at community coalitions, food banks, homeless shelters, schools, & health centers.
The 1700 hour full-time position offers $14,279 Living Allowance, Eli Segal Award, $6,195. Only Full-time positions offer Health Coverage & Child Care assistance.
900 hour half-time position offers $7,559 living allowance, and Eli Segal Award, $3,097.50.
675 hour reduced half time position offers $5,669 living allowance, and Eli Segal Award $2,360.00.
450 hour minimum time position offers $3,780 living allowance, and Eli Segal Award $1,638.89.
300 hour minimum time position offers $2,520 living allowance, and Eli Segal Award $1,311.11.
This is a service opportunity that will allow members to develop skills related to systems development, resource connections, educational outreach, and case management among others.
Members will be interviewed by site supervisors and program director before selection but will not be interviewed by program director until references are verified through system. Experience with AmeriCorps program basics, and community health work is preferred.
