Radhika Shah is currently a student at Green Valley High School. As someone who has always been highly invested in academics, she is currently pursuing the International Baccalaureate degree and is a candidate for Valedictorian. In addition, Radhika participates in Speech and Debate competitions, serves as president of Green Valley High School’s Model United Nations, and is a competitor on her school’s Varsity Tennis team. Since she was in middle school, Radhika has been heavily involved in community service initiatives. Because her younger brother is diagnosed with Autism, Radhika released Real Autism Difference Non-profit Organization for her 16th birthday. One of the foundation’s primary goals was to introduce Respite Care: afterschool care and summer programs. Real Autism Difference has been able to accomplish this. As an avid public speaker, Radhika has become passionate about discussing topics such as youth volunteerism and the effects of Autism on a family. This has allowed Radhika to learn much about language and its implications in education policy and cognitive science.
