Recruitment:  Finding and Recruiting the Volunteers You Need

In a study by the Corporation for National and Community Service, Volunteer Growth in America:  A Review of Trends Since 1974, we learn that volunteering is at a 30-year high.  Most of the increase in volunteer activity is among teens, mid-life and older adults (45-65+).  We find that more Americans volunteer through a religious organization than through any other type of organization; in addition, we are seeing more service activity through educational or youth-serving organizations than in previous decades.
